We are a family-owned, Texas-based taxidermist proud to say we are not a production shop, and we take a limited number of birds per year to ensure a high-quality product and a timely turnaround.
My name is Daniel Roraback and welcome to Roraback Bird Works!
My hunting and taxidermy passions date back to my childhood hunting with my dad, brothers, and friends. As a young child, when I was fortunate enough to have an animal mounted, I would sit and watch the taxidermist for hours. His name was Mark Jones who owned Buddies Taxidermy in Marshall, Texas. I remember watching and talking with him for hours, mesmerized by the process. Mark has since passed but the memories, conversations, and experiences I gained from his presence will always be with me and play a huge role in my passion for taxidermy.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Kodee and we have four young boys Hudson, Oaklen, Maddox, and Parker. I am a full-time father, work a full-time career as a Texas Game Warden, and in my free time I am a full-time taxidermist.
My primary hunting passions are waterfowl and turkey hunting. I enjoy every aspect of turkey hunting from conservation, habitat management, the pursuit of a trophy, and the preservation of those memories made in the field. This is what steered me towards taxidermy over the years along with seeing the lack of good turkey taxidermist in my area. I look forward to working with you to make the memory of your turkey a reality that you can cherish for years to come. Please remember that Roraback Bird Works specializes exclusively in wild turkey taxidermy and customer satisfaction is priority.
